Effects of oral administration of electrolyte pastes on rehydration of horses

The authors studied the effect whether the composition of electrolyte pastes formulated for oral administration influences voluntary water intake by horses recovering from furosemide-induced dehydration. The authors reported differences between treatment groups especially when NACl was a component of the electrolyte paste.
