The purpose of this study was to examine the reliability of the different modifications of the glutaraldehyde test by determining the sensitivity; specificity; positive and negative predictive value and the prevalence of hypogammaglobulinemia in foals. This test can be used to control if the colostrum intake of foals has been sufficient.
