Comparison of some blood parameters, serum vitamin E and mineral concentrations of Arabian and English thoroughbred racehorses.

The objective of this study was to assess the relationships between serum parameters of breeding horses when fed with additional micronutrients along with their traditional feeding regime, i.e. hay/grains ration. The relationship between serum proteins and serum urea; and the relationship between serum lipids and either serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (GOT) or glutamic pyruvic transaminase were studied.
