Pure power, for explosive efforts
Indication for useAlways give Superforce in addition to sufficient (at least 5 kg) hay. Daily amount per animal: For training and competition -0,800 kg per 100 kg live body weight For light work - 0.600 kg per 100 kg live body weight. At rest, these rations should be halved.
Packaging20 kg bag
When a riding horse or a jumper reacts a tad too phlegmatically to Perfomix, Superforce can be included as part of ration. One good way is to substitute half of the ration with Superforce, from three days up to one week before a competition. In a matter of just a few days, this will cause the horse to start training with more vigor and without tiring quite as quickly. A usable standard is to substitute 1.5 to 2 kilos of regular rations with Superforce. This method achieves its peak effect after 3 to 5 weeks. Feeding horses that are not worked on a daily basis too much Superforce will prove detrimental. This may cause an overburdened liver, with the horse losing condition.
Superforce is not the appropriate feed to make a horse gain weight. The right mix for this is a combination of Probreed and Top Action, because of the proper proportion of amino acids the two contain.
Endurix is the feed that is best suited for this purpose. The vitamin and fat content is more aligned to the demands made of a dressage horse. Superforce contains a high level of oats and, combined with a high fat content, this promotes the level of relaxation and calmness demanded of dressage horses. Superforce was developed to provide the horse with the energy boost required to perform at the height of its powers for just a brief period of time. Dressage, on the other hand, requires peak power over an extended time period. That is why including Endurix as part of the ration is better suited to achieve this.
"Since I switched to Cavalor® Superforce my horses have a higher level of endurance and a noticeable difference in their overall appearance. Cavalor feeds are also perfect for hard keepers. The smell and makeup of the feed is extremely attractive to my hard keeper, she will only eat Cavalor." Katelyn Venezia, Professional Rider at Holly Hill Farm, Cape Cod, MA
"Cavalor Feed is a dream come true! I lived in Europe with my horses and my horses looked and felt so fantastic on the natural feed available there. On the East Coast I have been struggling to find a healthy grain mix without all the processed additives. All my horses enjoy Cavalor's tastey feed, it gives them long lasting strength to work but does not provide focus problems and energy spurts. I feel good feeding my horses something that is healthy and nutritious and made for horses complicated digestive system. From my 3 year old to my 21 year old grand prix horse Cavalor Feeds have all of my horses looking shiny, strong and feeling great!"
"I put Ravel on Cavalor feed products a bit before the World Cup Finals in Las Vegas, and since then, he has more energy and his scores have been higher,"

"I grew up on a farm with an equine veterinarian as a father and cannot remember a time when I did not own horses. I went to college at Auburn University where I earned a BS in Animal Science and my DVM and I have been practicing veterinary medicine for 12 years. When I started playing polo six years ago I fed my horses Purina Strategy. I trusted the company and I was very familiar with their research in animal nutrition. Because I frequently advise my clients not to make changes in an animal's nutrition unless there is a good reason to do so I was very reluctant to make a change myself. A Cavalor representative started talking to me about Cavalor over a year ago but I really was not interested in switching feed as my ponies were doing great. I continued talking to Libby and did some research on my own and began really thinking about my program. I had several older horses, two that were difficult to keep weight on, and another that was frequently choking on her pellets if they weren't fed to her very slowly. Maybe "great" wasn't the right word.
I switched all of my horses to Cavalor three months ago and have been absolutely thrilled. I'm no longer feeding supplements. My thin ones have picked up weight in spite of it being winter. And I have not had a single choking incident. I'm also very happy with how much the horses like it, even the ones that were never good eaters are excited at feeding time.
Thank you Cavalor for your contributions to equine nutrition and thank you to my Cavalor representative, Libby Cifuni for convincing me to make the change."

"One of the things I've noticed is Cavalor really smells good. When I started feeding my two barrel horses Cavalor® Superforce, his mane and tail grew faster. That's one thing I've been disappointed about and I couldn't get my one horse's tail to grow. I also saw an increase in stamina and in the horses' oxygen levels and they were able to excel more in the arena. I've seen an increase in a ½ second in my palomino's time and I can contribute that all back to the feed." Andy Blalock, professional reiner
"My horses seem calmer with the right amount of energy on Cavalor feed. They clean the feed right up!" Dallas Wedel, Professional Reining Trainer
"Sort of as an experiment I switched two of our horses, one being Brianne's [Goutal] oldest horses, he's about 17 now. We had trouble keeping weight on without him getting fat, we moved him over to the Cavalor® Strucomix Senior and Cavalor® Perfomix and then added Cavalor® Superforce in the mix later as well. The change alone in his coat is amazing. We've tried everything, Omega 3, but now he's dabbled and not that mousy brown. He looks as good as our stallion and that says a lot for me." - Tatiana Gabrush, Manager for International Show Jumper Brianne Goutal
"Ted and I would like to thank Peter Bollen (founder of Cavalor) for sharing Cavalor with us. He opened our eyes in many ways. But most important, he showed us how we can help our horses perform to their best ability. We had great success feeding our race horses the Cavalor products. They started out on the feed and then we supplemented them as suggested. We gave Endurix with Super Force, An Energy Boost, Take It Easy and Free Bute Pro. Two wins! The best of all is that they were long shots! We're not picked to finish anywhere on the tote, both to be last in fact. Our horses blew out of the gates and didn't weaken at all! A Rare Corona improved his time by 4 tenths and ran his fastest Speed Index of 93. Ivolene just couldn't get there previously but he outran some very tough horses. As I said he was picked to run dead last! We are so excited, thankful, blessed, amazed! Need I say more?
Thanks a lot Peter, we hope to meet up with you again. Love meeting great people!"
We are so happy to hear that Carol Wilson and Ted Alexander's horses are having such a good results with Endurix, Super Force, An Energy Boost, Take It Easy and Free Bute Pro. We wish them the very best for the future!
Additional Information & Education
PUFFED GRAINS FOR INCREASED DIGESTIBILITY
By puffing grains we are able to improve the starch digestibility in the foregut from an average of 5-50% to 85-90%. These grains travel through the stomach and small intestine at a slower rate, allowing the digestive enzymes more time to act on the feed. More nutrients in the feed are released for the horse to absorb while avoiding any rapid releases of sugar and starch, which is critical for horses with metabolic issues.
SUGAR AND STARCH FOR EXPLOSIVE ENERGY
Non-structural carbohydrates (including starch and sugar) are broken down and absorbed in the small intestine, and then stored as glycogen in the muscles and liver. When a sport horse is asked to perform short intense efforts, this anaerobic activity will break down glycogen in the muscles into lactic acid. Superforce provides the horse with the energy he needs to perform well during the intensive efforts.
VITAMIN E AND SELENIUM
The combination of extra vitamin E and selenium in Superforce combats the formation of lactic acid and avoids muscle acidification. Sufficient selenium and vitamin E supplementation has been used to prevent muscle disorders (tying-up) in some horses.
