Cavalor Riders great result at CSIO Lummen

Published: 05-04-2009

After a good show in Antwerp the riders made a new stop at the showground’s of Peter Postelmans. The famous showground with 3 arena’s and an equal amount of paddocks makes it one of the most beautiful grounds in Belgium. Not only the Nationscup but also an exciting Derby and a wonderful Six-bars makes this a complete event.

Cavalor riders Ludo Philippaerts and Jos Lansink where present at this event. After a good result in the Nationscup , Belgium ended second after France. Spender made a good round and was ready for the GP.

Ludo Philippaerts saved his horse for the six bars. Last week Ludo and Kassini Jac where already to strong for the competition in the Six bars at Lummen he showed that it was no luck. Kassini Jac and Ludo Philippaerts won class with a strong jump over 2m10.

At the last day the riders had to make one more round on the beautiful grass of the Main Arena Derby for the GP Lummen. Ludo Philippaerts started strong but at the last triple it all went wrong and he ended with 12 points. Jos Lansink and Spender made again a superb round and made it to the Jump off. As last rider in the jump off he had to beat the time of Marcus Enhing. With a good jumping Spender and a clear round he made it very close, but with 0,50seconds slower he had to leave the first place to Marcus Enhing.

The Lummen CSIO ***** was a good show for the Cavalor riders with a victory for Ludo Philippaerts in the Six Bars competition and a second place in the GP for Jos Lansink.
