The authors studied the nutritive value of pasture in terms of digestible energy intake, dry matter digestibility and the effect of mineral supplementation on growth rate and degree of physeal swelling. Fourteen Thoroughbred yearlings were used for this study and diveded into two groups (supplemented and non-supplemented group. Both groups rotationally grazed on a ryegrass/white clover pasture. Digestibilities were calculated.
