    As Cavalor supports its ambassadors through thick and thin, in good times and in bad, we took some time out for an in-depth interview with the unfortunate Karin Donckers a month after the close of the Olympic Games in Rio. She travelled to Rio with her horse Fletcha van ‘t Verahof with high hopes and ambitions for the eventing medal. All her hopes were dashed by a fall in the cross-country discipline. This signaled not just end of the event, but more than just that.

    Belgium doesn't have a Showjumping team for the Olympic Games but can only send two individual riders : needless to say chances are small that Ludo will see his boys competing in Rio this year. But Nicola Philippaerts has proven the last couple of weeks that all his horses are fit and that we have to keep an eye on him; recently ending up second in the CSI5* Knokke Hippique with H&M Harley van den Bisschop, after finishing eight with Bisquet Balou C in the Grand Prix CSI 5* in Monaco one week before. Earlier this month Nicola finished 4th with Zilverstar in CSI5* Treffen, Austria, and even won the CSIO5* Sopot in Poland with H&M Forever d'Arco. "It's all about results now", says Nicola.
