Introducing Harriri, a mount for one of Neil Jones' of NJEQ’s top riders, Cassio Rivetti. Cassio, originally from Brazil, has competed in two Olympics and three World Equestrian Games, and continues to compete for NJEQ across the country.
Harriri is a 12-year-old Belgian Warmblood mare ridden by Cassio. Joining the NJEQ team in just December of last year, Harriri quickly proved herself starting the 2019 show season at HITS Thermal, winning several of the classes that Cassio rode her in.
Those who know her describe Harriri as “very competitive, ultra careful, and a real fighter at heart”. These traits have driven her own desire to win, and help her prove her ability and talent in the show ring. That, and the fact that she loves to jump and is quite hot in the show ring, is always to her advantage.
Harriri’s nutrition plan consists of Cavalor's Pianissimo and Strucomix Original, which are essentials in NJEQ’s feeding program. Since she does tend towards the hotter side, Pianissimo is the perfect feed for keeping her cool and well-tempered on a daily basis. Strucomix Original provides her with the necessary fibers to keep her digestive system healthy and in-check, especially when on the road between California and Florida.
Apart from feed, Harriri gets a daily dose of Cavalor's ArtiMatrix. The NJEQ team uses ArtiMatrix across their string of horses to keep their joints in excellent condition. They also keep Cavalor’s FreeBute Gel on hand to apply after jumping or a strenuous work out. Additionally, Harriri enjoys her daily scoop of Cavalor’s Electrolyte Balance, which is given to her year round as she competes in warm climates.
We’re looking forward to watching Harriri and Cassio on the Florida circuit, and wish them the best of luck finishing out the rest of the season!
