This beautiful chocolate palomino, known as Lady Bang Bang, started her reining career this March at just five-years-old. Sired by Tinker with Guns out of West Coast Cowgirl, Lady Bang Bang has come a long way in her few months of showing.

Initially, she was your typical green horse, “nervous and fast in her reactions – focusing on the butterflies instead of her job” says owner and rider Britta Jacobson. Over the show season, “she’s gone from needing three hours of riding to get her settled in, to now just warming up for 30-45 minutes and heading into the ring.” Her confidence has skyrocketed, allowing Britta to mix-up her ride going from bareback to bridleless – you name it.

She’s proved not only her confidence, but also her talent, bringing home a top prize at every show she’s attended. Lady Bang Bang, and Britta’s other talented mare Ms. Benz, both eat Cavalor’s Pianissimo, and it’s the only grain Britta keeps in her barn.

Congratulations to Britta and her girls on a spectacular show season, and we look forward to watching you next year!
