Competition Update

The World Games 2010 Foundation will host test events in seven of eight disciplines in preparation for 2010. Reining and Vaulting test events occurred in July, in the new indoor a rena of the Kentucky Horse Park, with great success

Remaining Test Events include

• October 14, 2009- Driving
• October 14, 2009- Endurance
• Apri12G-25, 20lD-Dressage, Eventing,Jumping

Competition Team

• 94 FEI Offidals
• 25 Key Staff including Discipline Managers and Functional

Coordinators

• 2300 Competition Volunteers
• Support staff includ ing volunteer veterinarians, farriers, stable managers, secretariat staff and quarantine staff
• Service providers include Hippob~5e, Sport Computer Graphics, the Regi5tration System, and Ardian Group

Quarantine

• The primary quarantine facility will be at the Northern Kentucky/Covington Airport (near Cindnnati, Ohio)
• Designs and planning for the quarantine fac ility have been finalized and approved by all government entities

Course Design

• Driving Marathon and Endurance Courses are completed
• Eventing Cross Country Course has been designed
• DeSign for all show jumps are being finalized and construction is underway
